Sarge McLain is a Marine from Earth. He was serving in the Spanish-American war in 1898 when he was tapped to become part of a strange experiment for the Navy. He was placed in a sensory deprivation tank filled with a strange crystal emulsion taken from the deepest parts of the Bermuda Triangle.
Sleep came.
When he woke up, he was dressed in an Orkish wetsuit and was inside an Orkish coffin, that was folding itself away. It was then the met the crew of the “Never Home”.
In his limited adventures thus far, he has discovered that Earthmen are stronger than the people of this world – he is also a bit bigger.
Now, he is one of the best hopes for Freedom this Sea has – as well as a great danger to the Elves and their Empire. He carries an idea they will not be able to easily destroy – and they do not know it…
